Rationale

The conference aims to raise awareness over the future impact of tourism and its effects upon society.
The current economic recession has left many countries around the world asking various questions about tourism and how it might make a bigger contribution to Gross Domestic Product’s (GDP). To assist with local economies, emerging tourist destinations and traditional popular hotspots will look to entice tourists. The current situation is therefore an opportunistic time for all stakeholders involved in the tourism industry to think carefully about the goals, strategies and implications of tourism for the future.

The topics include all disciplines related to tourism management and sustainability including:-
Pro Poor Tourism, Human Resources Development, Socio Cultural Impacts, spirituality, environmental issues, sustainability, Consumer Behavior, tourism and hospitality education etc.

The conference is aimed at policy makers, industry practitioners, academics and hospitality/ tourism training institutions.
